Six tiles are previews of licensed library designs (Feinerfab, cut-and-sell licence; dxf4free, CC0) shown for reference. Every other motif is a Mortimer original. All patterns are resized to your dimensions, keeping minimum bridge widths for metal.
01 · Garden screens
Freestanding or wall-fixed screens for patios, borders and boundaries. Flat or folded edge, with optional posts and channels.
02 · Flat-pack fire pits
Four laser-cut panels and a base that slot together without tools. Designed to arrive by courier, flat.
03 · Rural, farm & equine signs
Farm, stable, cottage and yard signs with horse, hound, sheep and tractor silhouettes. Personalised lettering cut through the steel.
04 · AC & heat pump covers
Made-to-measure laser-cut covers and screens for outdoor air conditioning condensers and heat pumps. Open patterns with generous free area on the fan face, a removable lid and side for servicing, and clearances set to the manufacturer's guidance.
05 · Planters
Laser-cut planters in weathering Corten or powder-coated aluminium, with the same patterns as our screens. Choose a standard cube, column or trough, or give us the space and we'll make it to measure. Every planter has drainage holes and raised feet so water gets away and the base doesn't sit wet; liners and uplighter cut-outs on request.
Sizes
Most of the UK market sells a few standard panel sizes off the shelf and quotes for anything else. We do the same: pick a standard size for the quickest turnaround, or give us your opening and we'll cut to the millimetre.
Sizes in mm (height × width). Planters: cubes and columns around 400–500 high as standard, troughs to measure. Standard sizes reflect common UK market sizes; made-to-measure pricing and lead times on quote.
Materials
Light, rust-free, powder-coated in any RAL colour. Crisp and modern; ideal for terraces, coastal and roof gardens.
Forms a protective rust patina that deepens over months. Warm, living, made for planting and country gardens.

Mortimer Metalworks is the design brand of McIntosh Industries Ltd, a metal fabrication shop in Shobdon. Every piece is drawn, laser-cut and finished in our workshop, then sent out across the UK.
